Q: How can I participate at Copenhagen Photo Festival 2013?
A: Photographers can apply for participation in the curated exhibition held at this year’s Photo City. To apply for admission, follow the admission guidelines
Q: Which type of photos can I apply with?
A: You can apply with pictures from any photographic genre – art photo, commercial photo, fashion photography as well as photojournalistic series.
Q: What does A4 size mean?
A: Besides being exhibited at Photo City, the accepted photos will also become part of the catalogue, which is being published in connection with the festival. The production of the catalogue requires picture quality equivalent to approximately A4 size.
Q: Can I attach my photos in an email?
A: Unfortunately not. Seeing that admission requires at least five photos of approximately A4 size the email would be too large for our email system to handle. The admission photo must therefore be send to our office on a CD or USB stick.
Q: When do I get a response on my application?
A: Replies will be emailed to all applicants on April 1st.
Q: Do I lose the rights to my photos?
A: No. Accepted photos might be used in PR material, but the photographer will always be credited.
Q: What will happen to my photos?
A: If you get accepted as a participant in Copenhagen Photo Festival 2013, your photos will become part of the curated exhibition in Photo City and appear in the catalogue published in connection with the festival.
