The Newly Graduated Photojournalist Astrid Dalum Wins Scanpix Award

The Scanpix Award honors the best graduate project from the photo journalistic program at The Danish School of Media and Journalism in Aarhus.

Graduate Astrid Dalum was awarded with the prestigious prize. Dalum was chosen for her project about women, their bodies and the view women have of it.

 

I Am Woman
How do women feel about their body? That’s the question photographer Astrid Dalum asks 22 women in the project “I Am Woman”. The women is either concerned about appearance, age, sexuality, weight, illness or pregnancy. Some women are okay with their body – some are not.
