Multiplicity and tolerance are the keywords behind photographer Klaus Thymann’s exhibition about the Danish freetown Christiania – a city within a city.

With a focus on the anarchistic architecture of Christiania, Thymann shows, that even a small town like Copenhagen is able to have another layer. The goal behind the exhibition is to create a time capsule. Without the use of digital aid, Thymann has created a photographic documentary of a city within the city before it’s absorbed through normalization.
