Tonight the visitors at this year’s Culture Night will be able to dig into art – and dirt.

For tonight’s Culture Night, Museum of Copenhagen has arranged a variety of different and exciting events for the whole family. The events include everything from workshops in recycling and urban photo safari to archaeological studies, and can all be experienced at the museum as well as in the streets.

At the City Hall Square you will be able to flip through the 150.000 pictures of Copenhagen, which are exhibited at The Wall in the middle of the square. Just behind The Wall it’s hard not to notice the huge archeological excavation, where you will be able to see and hear the archeologists tell about their work on the excavation site.

From the City Hall Square you will have the opportunity to join the urban photo safaris, where you, in the company of a professional photographer, will be able to rexplore the old capital through the lens of your camera. All the safaris end at the Museum of Copenhagen, where artist and designer Jeremy Walton is hosting a workshop on how to use the things we otherwise would just have thrown out.
