If you find yourself near the Kings New Square (Kgs Nytorv) within the next couple of months, remember to check the large scale documentary photo exhibition.

It is not only fences and reconstruction which welcomes you at The Kings New Square at the moment. The fence around the constructions site has been transformed to an exhibition site for the photographers from Personal Projects and Henrik Saxgren. Personal projects has the last two years participated in Copenhagen Photo Festival under the title “5 x personal projects” where five Danish documentary photographers has exhibited their personal projects in Øksnehallen. This year the projects has multiplied, and no less than ten personal projects are taking part in Copenhagen Photo Festival 2012 at Øksnehallen – but all ready now you can experience nine of the contributing photographers at The Kings New Square now.

The photographers are Maria Fonfara, Thomas Lekfeldt, Mads Nissen, Miriam Dalsgaard, Jonathan Bjerg Møller, David Høgsholt, Christian Als, Niels Christensen and Tobias Selnæs Markussen. The last photographer, who’ll join the exhibition for the festival is Lærke Posselt.
