The Danish Museum of Photography in Herning set out on a mission to increase the artistic level in Danish art photo. The mission led to a curated photo exhibition with the theme “To The Edge”. The thought behind the theme is to engage a diverse audience as well as to surprise and even provoke the audience.
The guidelines for the exhibition were sent to Danish photographers and answered with no less than 300 singles and series. Out of the 300 photos, 59 singles and series were chosen by the curators; landscape photographer Kirsten Klein, art photographer Trine Søndergaard and commercial photographer Kenneth Havgaard.
The exhibition is on display until April 22nd.
